October 13 – December 31, 2013
At Wings Over the Rockies we’re always up to something, and math gets us off the ground.
Celebrate the wonders of mathematics with Math Midway, a traveling exhibit from the Museum of Mathematics, presented by Oppenheimer Funds.
This 4,500-square-foot, carnival-themed exhibit adds fun and excitement to the world of math with more than 20 interactive, playful exhibits including:
Pedal on the Petals
Three Ring Circleous
Mathematical Monkey Mat
The Mysterious Harmonograph
Math Midway is great for all ages. While young children enjoy the brightly colored and engaging exhibits, older children and adults come away with a newfound sense of appreciation for the creative and exciting nature of mathematics.
Join us for the grand opening of the exhibit on Sunday, October 13 with Math Midway at the Hangar, a carnival event with jugglers, face painters and more.
Entrance into Math Midway is included with regular Museum admission.
