Wings Over the Rockies Research Library
The Research Library contains books, encyclopedias, serials/periodicals, maps/charts, posters, manuscripts, clippings and audio/visual materials related to aviation and space, their history and technology. It also contains a strong collection of Colorado aviation material. Its purpose is to assist researchers and those seeking information relative to aviation. The Research Library also works in tandem with the Lowry AFB History and Photograph Collections.

The private collections of pilots, engineers, designers, aviation historians, researchers, and other air and space professionals are included in the overall collection. These items offer the researcher access to unique and otherwise hard-to-find information.

Also included are original documentation and publications in several languages. Latest of these acquisitions include a series from Moscow printed in limited quantity and French periodicals dating to before the Wright Brothers.

The staff of well qualified and dedicated researchers offers it services via email or telephone and during open hours or by appointment. Contact numbers: library@wingsmuseum.org and/or 303/360-5360 ext. 119.
