How To Find The Museum
Located in the former Lowry AFB on the east side of Denver, Wings Over the Rockies Air and Space Museum is housed in the 30,000 sq. ft. World War II-era Hangar No. 1.
 
From North/South I-25: Go North on Colorado Blvd. to Alameda; East (right) to Fairmount Dr.; North (left) straight through the roundabout; turn right on Academy Blvd.
 
From East/West I-70: South on Quebec Street; turn east on 1st Ave., go .25 miles and turn right onto Roslyn Street. Roslyn then curves around to the left and becomes Academy Blvd. You will see the B-52 on the left side of the road!
 
From I-225: Alameda exit West to Fairmount Dr.; North to Academy Blvd. turn right; museum on the left.
 
WINGS is within easy walking distance from RTD routes 6 (6th Ave) and 73 (Quebec St.). Visit the RTD Website to use their trip planner, route maps, and schedules.
