B-17 Fly-in at Centennial Airport
Hosted by Signature Flight Support
June 5 – 9, 2013
Celebrate the Colorado Air National Guard’s 90th anniversary and the history of the greatest generation when Experimental Aircraft Association’s (EAA) B-17 “Flying Fortress” Aluminum Overcast comes to Centennial Airport.
Step back in time and experience World War II history by catching a Mission Flight or a Ground Tour on the Aluminum Overcast, a historic heavy bomber during our B-17 Fly-in.
Watch history come alive by standing in the footsteps of a bombardier, navigator or waist gunner when you experience this once-in-a-lifetime flight on one of World War II’s most vital and magnificent aircrafts.
Explore the nooks and crannies of this heavy bomber as you tour the Aluminum Overcast after it has finished its daily Mission Flights.
Bring your family and participate in free activities like:
- Seeing Warbird Aircraft and WWII Vehicle Displays
