This outreach program offers hands-on aviation activities to kids of all ages. We travel to local fly-ins and air shows throughout the State and partner with local volunteers to provide this exciting educational program at their airports.
Kids and adults can participate in many hands-on activities geared towards aviation, space, and science.
-Learn to build and fly a Goddard Rocket on your very own.
-Assemble a balsa airplane and learn about the components of flight.
-Take a flight on our traveling simulators in a Cessna 182 or in an Extra aerobatic plane.
-Build a candy airplane from bubble gum, Sweet Tarts, and Life Savers.
Come join us this spring, summer and fall at these local fly-ins and air shows. For dates of possible air shows and fly-ins please refer to the calendar below.
If you would like for us to provide a KidSpace at one of your air shows or fly-ins please contact: Kevin Smith ksmith@wingsmuseum.org, 303-360-5360 x106.
