Welcome to Wings Over the Rockies!
On behalf of the Wings family of members, volunteers and staff, welcome to Colorado's Official Air & Space Museum! Whether you are a veteran, family or young person, we look forward to serving you.
Summer is a great time to check out the educational and inspirational activities
at Wings. We have added six new, inter-active exhibits in the last
18 months, from “Colorado's Astronauts” to a new “Nose Art” exhibit. Special
events range from our Wings Summer Camps to a 40th Anniversary Celebration
of Apollo 11 and Air Force Tops in Blue Concert.
Whatever your age, background and career, there is something at Wings Over the Rockies for you. You are sure to find friendly staff and volunteers to make your museum experience special. During your visit this summer, you will also be among visiting members of the “greatest generation” whose World War II service made safe our way of life, as well as potential future astronauts and other members of the first generation who will walk on Mars!
We are also looking forward to honoring actor/pilot Harrison Ford in November with the prestigious “Spreading Wings” award. We will be creating a display this summer to pay tribute to aviation in the movies.
Our new and improved website will provide details of all these activities. The very best way to stay informed of programs and opportunities is by being a member of our Wings family. Look for how to join on our website or call us anytime.
